| Jumpin said: I'm all digital, and really am not in the market for any physical, but the physical market is obvious... Full games, on game card, without need of patching or downloads of any sort to play... these should be available, and it's silly that companies are not making this available. That's essentially what the other people in my Nintendo fandom family want. Is there anyone who actually wants game cards? I don't, and I don't think the physical market do either. Game cards shouldn't be the future, they should be a relic of the past... before we had dedicated digital download platforms. |
Agreed, but I can never see myself going physical again outside of the rare collectors editions I buy that I never open. For those I would absolutely only buy it if it was complete on cart. Of course, I’m usually paying a premium for that item. I’d imagine folks wouldn’t want to pay $10-$20 more for a “complete on cart” edition and I’d imagine while that could solve one problem it might greatly exacerbate another. Tough time for collectors and physical gamers.
