In a twist that I'm sure absolutely nobody saw coming... "Discord confirms hacks have compromised the IDs of users who had appealed an age determination, following the implementation of the Online Safety Act"

Discord went on to state "Of the accounts impacted globally, we have identified approximately 70,000 users that may have had government-ID photos exposed, which our vendor used to review age-related appeals."

It's almost like the Online Saftey Act, doesn't make you safe online!

On another note, I've noticed that imgur is now blocked in the UK.

Imgur was going to get fined because it's approach to age checks wasn't robust enough, so Imgur responded by restricting access to the UK.

As a result, I'm seeing a bunch of photos that look like this:
