And the movies dont match the art style of the games.
Things can change. Paper Mario, 3D Mario, 2D Mario, Mario & Luigi, Super Mario RPG and the Super Mario Movies all have different art styles.
Anyways, it might not be related to the movie but could be related to something else like a TV series, or like I said a test demo for the future.
