Yeah, very impressive - FSR4 is really something that AMD needed for a long time.
What is performance hit for it on Steam Deck vs FSR3 and XeSS?

Somebody made a video about it.

Drops aren't too huge. As far as I know this is an Int 8 version of FSR 4 that was accidentally leaked by AMD, which RDNA 2 should support fine. Probably why performance is decent.

So impressively what the Steamdeck is achieving with all these optimisations and upscaling. The current price for the LCD version of 279 pounds puts its pricing close to full price Switch 1 OLED pricing yet in many ways far superior to Switch 2. The CPU performance is 8000-9000 passmark compared to around 2000 passmark on Switch 2 (only 600 on Switch 1). Portable gflops is around 1.6Tf on Steamdeck but 1.3Tf on Switch 2 portable mode according to the Geekerwan analysis. Memory bandwidth is about 88GB/s compared to 68GB/s on Switch 2. Faster again on Steamdeck OLED. Just seems a brilliant package and super impressive now. Also from the sound it no Steamdeck 2 model until probably 2028. I don't have one myself but hats off to Steam for the Steamdeck a truly brilliant device.
