One thing Nintendo has shown is that the interpretations of a “bad transition” you see on YouTube and some social media people are really just bad interpretations.
Some of these sorts claimed Nintendo was under-supplying.
Others claimed they were over-pricing.
Both of these groups have been profoundly discredited by the facts. Those in both groups double-so.
As it stands, Nintendo is currently sitting on both the fastest and the best supplied high-demand console launch in gaming history. You can reasonably conclude the console was priced correctly according to demand → it would be unreasonable to claim otherwise at this point since it goes against the facts of high sales, high demand, and high supply.
Additionally, the intergenerational backward compatibility is the best Nintendo has ever done. I hope they keep this up.
