lol that was EXACTLY my experience. From most of the people I know with Wiis that experience is more or less universal except the populations of kids and kid like adults. Cartoons, dodgeball and all that other stuff from early childhood are fun and retro, but only for a while; then you end up looking for something more which the Wii just doesn't have. I've tried the "big hits" every time they come out to see if I can get back into them but they end up just being really derivative and not as fun as I remember (Mario Galaxy/kart, smash bros, zelda, metroid 3 ect). Its amazing how little the main franchises have evolved in decades. Maybe some day a Wii game will come out that can hold my attention for more then a few hours, but I'm starting to doubt it. |
