Where is Call of Duty on Switch?

My guess is that COD, being a yearly series, is on a very tight production schedule across multiple dev teams spanning the globe. I think the games are planned three to four years in advance and that it was too disruptive to add Switch 2 to their plans at whatever stage of development they happened to be for Black Ops 7. Hopefully COD will make it onto Switch 2 next year.
