I didn’t watch it, I read an article instead and watched a few of the trailers on YouTube - I’ll never find these “pack 40 to 70 commercials into a hour” type Directs to be anything more than a waste of a hour.
However, this one had some announcements that piqued my interest:

Dragon Quest 7 remake - which is great, because I loved the concept of the original, but found the design, pacing, and linearity to make the game… not really my thing! Dragon Quest 6-8 was a stretch I didn’t enjoy in a series I otherwise love, but all three of those games had stuff in it I really liked (such as the presentation of DQ8). So, ann entirely new approach might make it something I’ll be into.

Super Mario Galaxy 1&2 Collection is something I’ve wanted for a while on updated hardware. I see complaints about the price, for me it’s well worth the price. So this is a must have for me.

FF7 and Stardew Valley - already expecting both of these. Already planned on purchasing.

The next is the Fire Emblem announcement. Not much said about the game yet. But I make sure to always look into these.

Resident Evil 9 - this is one I actually watched the trailer on, it looked like something interesting - but honestly, when Milano left the series, I lost interest.

Disgaea 7 - I’ll look into this one as well… but honestly, I think these games take too much time to move… a little too grindy.

Yoshi Mysterious Book - if this is a Tezuka game, always worth looking into.

That’s about it.
I did not like all these 2026 announcements… which often mean Spring to Christmas. It’s disappointing when seeing “ah, I wanna play this!” Followed by “But you won’t be able to for 8 to 17 months!”: Fuck off with that, Nintendo!

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
