In the US, hopefully this crap remains confined to Evangelical Land and doesn't infect the rest of the country. With the way video games are scapegoated (Kennedy is on that kick now), there's a non-zero chance the porn law ID verification will be extended to video games. What PornHub has done in evangelical states is to simply block any IPs from those states rather than deal with ID verification.
I thought Australia also had an online ID verification law.
