I mean I would love to be able to buy my third party games on a game card personally, I'm just saying, the Switch sold over 150 million and still a lot of publishers gave it only half-hearted support, I imagine they would have no issue just skipping Switch 2 if they were forced to pay cart costs.

switch had great support in the beginning, but it got to a point where the hardware couldnt keep up, especially once 9th gen consoles were released. i think we will see the same exact thing happen to switch 2. we will see good third party support for 2 years and then it'll fizzle out. oh well, who cares. again, appeasing them is pointless. all nintendo needs to do is sell a bunch and third parties will put games on their console. as long as there is not too significant a power gap, it will happen. should never come at the expense of what nintendo's vision for their consoles and games are though
