No he/she speculated it might require different assets but stated they don't know that, they've just heard from multiple sources that the game is coming to Switch 2 and PS4.
Switch 2 should be able to run similar assets given what we have seen now from games like Star Wars Outlaws and Cronos, those games are not using different assets from the console/PC versions, just lower settings.
I don't think this will be the case even for the PS4 version, when Capcom ported RE Village and RE4 Remake to the iPhone they didn't make new assets for it, that is expensive and time consuming to do that, I doubt they are going to go to the trouble of new assets for a PS4 version. The game has a lot of areas in enclosed spaces as is the case with most RE games, if you turn down the lighting effects it likely can run even on a PS4.
