I would be curious as to what the rest of why he got arrested is. Did not see anything other than his tweets mentioned in articles covering the story.
Edit 1: Okay, got it, for inciting violence, because he tweeted to punch men in the balls if found in women spaces. There is no immediate time frame for said violence. At least in the USA this would not count. Don't know if british law is similar in that way. But I would imagine that there are millions of tweets more violent than this every day on twitter. This seems like picking on him in particular. And he is a comedian, therefore it seems extra harmless and everybody should get that. But protecting men from ball punches in women spaces is more important than orvellian government overreach.
