I lean right. But I am not a political party. Tell me the issue and I tell you where I stand on it.
Someone wrote in this thread something interesting: people on the right would not mind harming others if it benefits themselves. And I think in the same way people on the left will not mind harming others if it benefits the community of their choice. If a lack of empathy is what perverts the right, it is a surplus of empathy that perverts the left. And I am far more fearfull of the latter. The path to hell is lined with good intentions. (And it is always the question of being empathetic towards whom.)
Where I come from legal and uncontrolled illegal mass immigration is such a big issue, that everything else pales in comparison. Very interesting and potentially very dangerous political times ahead.
