No. Men do these chores, but most of the time it's not good enought for women. He does these these chores, but they're never good enough. Even if he did 2 hours of chores each day, she would still do an hour to fix what she thinks he did wrong complaining why does she always have to do all this stuff. Partially this is because of how women view relationships and mutual homes. And also about the different standards men and women have. Outsiders can't tell the difference if it was him or her who did the dishes or fixed their car. 

any proof for this assertion that women are wrong in thinking men don't do their fair share of the chores? 

Here's mine for women doing most of the household chores even in dual income situations. Heck even when the woman is earning more.
