I voted that he's right, but it's complex.
Switch 2 could have stood to come out November 2023 or at least by November 2024. I know the Nintendo audience isn't about specs, but Switch has been outdated and not fresh since at least then.
Xbox feels like they need to get their fifth console out 2027 or before because of the state of their current gen.
The success of PS5 and the length of game development makes me think we can wait until 2029 for PS6.

PS4: 120 mil (was 100 then 130 million, then 122 million) Xbox One: 51 mil (was 50 then 55 mil)
3DS: 75.5 mil (was 73, then 77 million)
