You said the Switch 2 wouldn't even be able to run Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade when that rumor first came on these boards, you said that would be impossible because it was a PS5 game, lol. It can run that easily, not only that Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (the PS5 exclusive) is pretty much confirmed for the system too as the entire series is coming to the Switch 2 (direct from the game's director). You were dead wrong and part of the same tired "DON'T BE EXCITED ABOUT NINTENDO HARDWARE!!" brigade for two years non-stop because things like Wii and Wii U came in underpowered (products that were expressly made for casual gamers ... no shit). The system is significantly better than the boo birds made it out to be and there will be games 2-3 years into the system's product cycle that are even better than what we are seeing now. There will be lots of PS5 ports. We will get some iffy ports sure, but you will see some really good ones as time goes on also. Using the base PS4-PS4 Pro as a comparative to everything was stupid and useless to begin with, it tells you nothing about the kinds of games a hardware can run. The Steam Deck can run Spider-Man 2 from the PS5. This is not the PS1-PS2 era, you can't use hardware benchmarks in that way anymore as hardware architecture is what tells you moreso what games a hardware can run or not. You continuing to use this benchmark is stupid and I'm not the only one to point it out. "PS4 Pro" means nothing when you have tons of PS5 tier games on the system. Pro-tip too next time you want to pretend to be a "Nintendo hardware expert" actually go read up on the history of the company, particularly under the Yamauchi years, Nintendo didn't just start making hardware with the GameCube-Wii, it's tiresome to get lectured by people who think they know everything about Nintendo when they really don't know shit. Iwata is not the president any more and the entire board of directors is completely different, why did you assume Nintendo would just continue to operate the exact same way? If Apple wanted to make a big push into gaming with the M Series chips they easily could, those chips are extremely powerful, they just don't give a shit about gaming because it's a small market to them. They move 20-30 million iPhones (not even counting iPads) every 3 months, game consoles don't even come close to that, the 15-17 million Playstations that Sony moves a year is dick all for Apple. |
No, I said it wouldn't run it like the ps5 and it doesn't.
You put words in people's mouth.
Either way I'm not derailing this thread with nonsense. Anybody who wants to know what you've said can look it up. My guess is most people don't care.
And I predicted ps4 to ps4 pro in power.... which is where it landed. And it is impressive for a handheld.
As for apple... lol. I will leave it at that.
And for the actual topic. I'm glad Indiana is getting ported. Hopefully it becomes a main stock franchise. Especially since Uncharted and Tomb Raider seem to be MIA. The game seems to run well and has a good engine, also quite scalable. Hopefully it becomes a franchise.
