It's not a new thing, in fact UE5 games are repeat offenders when it comes to low resolutions on console.

Just my personal opinion, but if your game can't hold a stable framerate and drops to resolutions worse than most PS4 games on a PS5, then you should rein things in, no point in going crazy with eye candy if performance suffers as a result.

Yes because the hardware on consoles it out of date.  The ps5 is a 2018 (give or take) GPU....

As for the rest, depends on the average gamer.  I get we are into the details but would guess the average gamer will find Snake Eater beautiful and won't even notice the resolution or fps.  We care.  Does the average gamer?
