Whether it's to give a system more display outputs to drive more monitors or for a simple HTPC, to name a couple of examples, some of those old cards have a real purpose to some people, and since neither Nvidia nor AMD make these kind of low end GPUs anymore, they'll keep selling until they're no longer made.

While I get that too, I would have expected them still to get something more modern than a GT 210, especially when a 710 is just $7 more, probably has much better driver support now and is 10x more powerful. By comparison GT 730 and 1030 are way too expensive!

AMD and NVidia still kinda make these GPUs, but they put them into professional cards. Like the Radeon Pro series for instance where we had the W7400 in the news just a couple days ago.
