Outlaws is only one example that requires ray traced lighting, that's already an extreme stressor on a mobile system.
The Playstation audience isn't really growing, Nintendo has a better track on bringing in new generations of gamers, if someone was a "kid" in 2018 getting a Switch at say 9 years old, they'd be 16 today. They may not want a stationary fat brick console period. Doesn't fit their lifestyle and what they're used to (being able to play where ever they want when ever they want).
So there definitely could/will be gamers getting into things like FC Soccer or Call of Duty or Final Fantasy or Mortal Kombat or whatever who choose to do so on the Switch 2.
The whole concept of "well surely if you're a kid you're gonna buy a Playstation and 'graduate' up from some Nintendo platform" is I think outdated thinking. Nintendo is "cool" today even with teenagers and the college age crowd, a lot of people in ecosystems like the Switch or PC are simply not migrating to things like Playstation or XBox period. It ain't 2004 anymore.
Sony I think knows this internally too, they're panicking and trying to do stuff like now like more and more multiplatform, more PC focus, now they're going to kneecap the PS6 era with their hybrid that will have sub PS5 performance ... they're not doing any of this stuff if their internal metrics aren't telling them certain trends are not going their way.
