This take is invalid if you thought FF16 was great given how brainless and simple the combat was.  This game has actual mechanics and depth to the combat if you followed the development. 

Where did you take FF16 from? I mentioned 3 games and none were it.

I remember a trailer for it like 10 years ago, it looked amazing for an one person project as it once was, but it's 2025 and only now it's getting released... it certainly doesn't impress watching the last trailer and it's still just showing the guy hitting and hitting mobs with the sword...

Maybe the game will turn out good, maybe the combat is good, who knows, but it doesn't hype me a single bit.
