This. Lmao. It's entirely Trump's fault, between COVID and Russia-Ukraine war and how fast the world moves lately, I wasn't even thinking about Epstein recently, it was Trump who put him back into the spotlight, it was Trump who promised to release the files and expose all the dirty Democrats, it was Trump who said he had the files, only to then say the files are fake news and desperately trying to get out of having to release them.

And now Trump's former defence lawyer (Todd Blanche) is the one meeting alone with Maxwell who potentially has incriminating evidence on Trump, Todd's former client, Todd is now Deputy Attorney General and trying to speak to Maxwell in private about possibly cutting a deal after Trump is being heavily accused of being a nonce, it's a blatant conflict of interest, extremely suspicious, and it is entirely Trump's fault that we're speaking about it again, and it's Trump who is looking desperate to cover it up.

That's not strictly true. On this particular point, Trump became a victim of his own propaganda machine that goes by the name of Fox News. The channel edited the interview where Trump was asked about releasing a variety of files. When it came to the Epstein files, Trump immediately said "yeah" and that's where the interview got snipped for the broadcast. But in the full version, Trump said (paraphrased), "Yeah... I guess I would... maybe I would not... you know, it could do a lot of harm to a lot of people." It's the kind of answer where you can infer who is going to be on the list and who is going to get harmed the most if the truth comes out. The writing was on the wall that he wasn't going to release the Epstein files, already before election day. But other people on the campaign trail pushed hard for it, so here we are.

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV will outsell Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I was wrong.
