Spyro clears this easily. Beautifuls worlds, music and really good kinectic energy.
There's something extremely rare in the characters movement momentum due to him being a quadruped character. It's interesting that no one has really tapped into it since for any other platformers. Although Crash had the bigger Nostalgia I think Spyro would fair better with a brand new game, it just leans more into the modern day preferences of open environments. I hoped MS buying Activision would at least result in a higher chance of us seeing a new game in the IP but now I'm not so sure :/
At least Toys for Bob is working on something (I'd pref Banjo over Spyro, but would love both)
