Holds up where? Its not on any modern platform (PS4/PS5, Xbox One/Series, Switch 1/2 or PC/Steam).
The only options are to emulate or buy older copies of the PS2 or 3DS version - or buy the inferior iOS/android version. It shouldnt be like this.
IV, V, VI, VII, VIII and IX all need remasters or remakes because none of these games are on any modern platforms.
