While keycards may not be as great as a traditional physical, they are better than digital dl, as they can be traded and or sold if desired. So the value is different as opposed to outright digital.

I get that they do offer some advantages, I just suspect a lot of consumers will see them as just digital with extra steps and opt to just download the game from home rather than to out to a store for a game key.
