It's a near-perfect souped up PS4 in function. The PS5 versions of games are where I've been a bit disappointed in first-party output. The prices are getting ridiculous in some spots too for services, controllers, and some games.
Add in another few banger first-party games and it will probably get bumped up to 9.
Sony simply is going for a cross-gen approach now and less new first-party titles especially exclusives. The divide between each console's library and PC is shrinking. You don't have to like it, but that's how it is.
