Incredible first four days for the Switch 2. The Japanese will have been the hungriest for it so this should be another 30m+ seller there. Next week will tell a lot since the Switch 1 had a massive 81% drop in its 2nd week so that'll help answer how well the following months will hold up compared to June for it.
For the Switch 1 it dropped again and notably is slightly lower than the DS for its equivalent week so Switch sales look like they could fall off fast like that did which wouldn't be surprising considering the circumstances. Also of note is the Lite is starting to fall off with its lead over last year vanishing so there might be little interest in that model going forward despite how cheap it is.
For the PS5 that sale really had a big impact so its gonna have a strong June worldwide it seems and next week for it should be elevated some too since the sale only ended yesterday. After a mundane past few weeks sales data is back to being exciting for a while again.
