Seems that something’s about to happen in Iran…unless this is the U.S. attempting to strengthen leverage? The U.S. has been searching for an excuse to start bombing for decades; not sure what leverage U.S. would be seeking. I feel very confident in saying a war with Iran will at least occur sometime during the Trump presidency. Whether that be this week, this month, this year, before midterms, etc.

also, my avatar broke b/c i tried uploading a pfp that was too “large.” No idea how to fix this. I’ve already reached out to Bandor. If anybody has suggestions, please quote me here OR pm. Thank you! :)

Netanyahu keeps pushing for a war with Iran to save his political career and freedom. So far Trump has said NO to Netanyahu for any attack against Iran. Netanyahu had already planned strikes on Nuclear facilities.

War is not the answer though, neither the US nor Iran wants a war and bombing Iran would only make the situation worse in the ME. On the other hand, Trump can't negotiate for shit and Netanyahu is slowly getting pushed into a corner. The US' reputation is also down the drain, starting a war won't be received well inside nor outside the US.

I say the chances of Netanyahu starting a war and dragging the US into it are 50/50 atm :/

The only reason Trump said no to Netanyahu is because he was working on a deal with Iran and his ego comes first, he wants above all else to say "Look at how much of a master dealmaker I am, I got a deal with Iran" but with Iran refusing to make a deal, Trump won't give a fuck what happens to Iran and will likely let Israel do whatever they want whilst repeating every 2 weeks "Terrible war, it shouldn't have started, never would have started if I was President" and ultimately doing nothing about it, Lol.

It would be incorrect framing to say that Israel will drag the US into a war Imo. Israel won't start a war with Iran without USA's support whether privately or publicly. If Israel does bomb Iran it very likely has USA's backing. I'd still pin the blame more on Israel but America wouldn't be some innocent country dragged against its will into war.

This sabre rattling and threatening behaviour is part of Trump's tactic to get Iran to agree to a deal and he has been doing it for months already.

31st March - Trump threatens to bomb Iran unless deal on nuclear program is reached | The Independent

“If they don’t make a deal, there will be bombing,” said the US president. “It will be bombing the likes of which they have never seen before.”

10th April - Trump warns military action against Iran 'absolutely' possible 'if necessary'

“If necessary, absolutely ... If it requires military, we’re going to have military,” Trump said. "Israel will obviously be very much involved in that. They’ll be the leader of that. But nobody leads us, but we do what we want to do."

Same Trump that casually bombed an Iranian General too and almost started a war in his first term.
