Anyone here still think the Wii is a fad?

Yes, I think it's a fad, because I think it's doing better than it really deserves to. Same reason I think Ipod is a fad.

How do you come to this conclusion? Nintendo made a brilliant business decision and are seeing the rewards. It deserves every sale it gets.

i have 4 friends with a nintendo wii. nothing wrong with that.
From those 4 only 1 still plays it and has more games then wii sports. Thats the problem with the wii and i think thats what kingofwale means, the thing sells because people see wii sports and want to play it. nothing wrong with that but its nothing to like if you're gamer you want to see games played;)

K well I have 4 friends with Wiis who play Brawl religiously, and have several other games.  Only one of those friends has any other console (one Xbox 360).  So... what?  Call my evidence anecdotal if you want, but six out of our combined nine players (myself included) play tons of Wii games.  What was your argument again?
