| RolStoppable said: This piece of hardware in combination with a true killer app on launch day and a lot of complementary software to choose from may be the best executed launch of a console ever. The only downside is the shortage of physical games, but the shitty behavior of most third parties can be quite easily ignored when Nintendo has lined up a bunch of great games for the rest of this year. Whether or not Switch 2 will sell better than Switch 1 is up in the air, but Nintendo is definitely putting their best foot forward here. Haters are gonna suffer. |
Both extremes are unwise. Saying it's going to flop is, but so is saying things like "best executed launch ever" or "haters are gonna suffer". You're basically acting exactly the same way that the people you're criticizing are. You're taking an extreme position without any evidence to back it up, just like them.
I've said this to the point of nausea, but it's worth repeating one more time: we will not know what this system is going to be until a minimum of one year from now. Two years, we'll know for sure. So imo, it's best to adopt a cautious opinion, be it positive or negative, than it is an extreme one. Anything else is just asking for it.
