Sony isn't going to shutdown Bungie when they still have the Destiny IP. 

At worst they take full control, get rid of upper management like Pete Parsons, perhaps with some additional layoffs, and turn them into a Destiny factory for the foreseeable future. They aren't Firewalk or Haven even if Marathon bombs hard.

Take control, make Destiny 3 and let it running it quietly. Would be so stupid to kill a $3.6B studio that has a massive IP.
