"The U.S. goods and services trade deficit with Russia was $11.4 billion in 2018."

So what's the tariff % going to be on Russia once they resume trade again? Lmao. Is Donald going to resume trade with Russia then immediately slap them with a tariff? Nah of course he isn't, suddenly the trade deficit won't be an issue when it comes to Russia. Donald can't be upsetting his master now can he.

Their trade deficit will be hilarious though, ain't nobody in Russia affording to buy American goods right now.

To be fair it should look much better for USA if European countries and some more would still boycott trade with Russia. USA wouldn't  buy much more from Russia as in 2018 but Russians would (in theory) buy more from USA if there's not many alternatives anymore. If they can buy a Ford but no VW or Peugeot than they will buy a Ford...in 2018 they bought a VW or Peugeot or Ford.

But yeah, to even mention trade and economic partnerships with Russia after every damn call about Ukraine which Trump or his mates have with some Russians is disgusting. It would be still the same guys in Russia after all. It's not a new government with new people to give a chance. It's murderer after murderer you can't wait to make deals with to push your and their economy.

That's not only making money with people who have a lot of blood on their hands, you even strengthen their position and weaken that of any opposition left in Russia with it. So you push an ideology in Russia which is all about killing your neighbors if they are weaker than you.
