The best comparison video of the two, I've seen is actually from Blunty.

Full screen it in 4k, and look for yourselves.
Starts around 3min 44sec into video, and last pretty much until done. Full side by side, video playing at the same time synced up as best as possible by blunty.
this is PS5 (base ps5) running performance mode, vs Switch 2 running its resolution mode (30fps). So this is as close as its gonna get, in terms of looks between the two. imo you can tell the PS5 is running like twice the fps, and a much higher base resolution. So yeah.... "it looks better than ps5pro" is kinda nuts to me. |
no one is saying it looks better than PS5 Pro ... the fact that it's that close is an embarrassment to the PS5/PS5 Pro if anything. |
Nah. It's more of a testament to how far mobile tech has come in recent years and how good CDPR is at optimization— often lost art these days. What used to be standard is now suddenly surprising to some. You may as well say Gunstar Heroes on Game Gear makes SEGA Genesis look embarrassing. Sometimes, a good port is just a good port.
