I honestly don't think Xbox is really going to be a consideration going into next generation, it'll be a two horse race between Sony & Nintendo.  I'd guess any Xbox hardware will be a niché item.

Steering back on topic, it will be intresting to see if GTA6 ever hits Switch 2.  I think we'll need to see what's really possible first.  I don't think we should rely on internet commentors to tell us what can be done on the machine; let's see what actual developers come up with.

The CPU is the equivalent of a modern snapdragon mobile phone CPU and the memory bandwidth is 68gb's in handheld mode. You don't need to listen to internet commentators to know that it's not going to be anywhere near enough to run GTA6. The XBSS has a decent CPU and 224gb's bandwidth, and going by what we've seen of the game so far getting it to run on there will be hard enough. It's not even close sadly, which is why I'm surprised Nintendo is launching a new system that will only put them in no mans land technologically.

"You don't need to listen..." proceed to give a say on this anyway. I remember not long ago when people were laughing over the rumors of the Witcher 3 being ported for Switch, claming to be impossible. No matter how scaleble the technology is nowadays, some people just want to close their eyes and ears to stick in their narratives
