Hmm, completion rates for games are typically low. It's going to go even lower for any game or edition that is put on a subscription service too. I wouldn't read much into it.
DmC5 has sold 10m, albeit slowly. Its initial sales were solid but not by especially impressive but it's end tally is, so we'll get a sequel for sure.
I just don't think Capcom were in a rush to create a new one, especially when something like RE or Monster Hunter is a bigger franchise and more well oiled machine.
