Nintendo cannot do something illegal to combat something illegal, it's the law's prerogative to act upon that. Besides, if they can brick your system for violating their TOS, who's to say what they'll add in there in the future? We all know how quickly tech companies change their TOS nowadays, and how overreaching they are. If I decide to install Linux on my Switch, am I doing something illegal? No, but by Nintendo's logic, it might be interpreted as breaking the TOS, so no more Switch for me. |
Well Im just talking about piracy of games. I dont think they should have the right to brick your console over something thats not illegal.
