I’m feeling cautiously optimistic about Pope Leo. I’ll be satisfied if he builds on Francis’s foundations. The fact that the red hats are so pissed off is a good sign. They were no doubt hoping to bring the Vatican under Trump’s control. The papal conclave gave the red-hats the biggest “fuck you” possible.
