I agree with you, I''ll use me with a example. I bought FF XV (standard and Royal) on Ps4 (both physical) and on Steam, FF VII Remake on PS4 (physical) and on Steam, I bought FF VII Rebirth on PS5 (physical) and on Steam, and even i dont like FF XVI too much, I bought on PS5 (physical) and on Steam with all dlcs.

I think low key a lot of games sell quite well on the Switch, even if it's not necessarily showing up huge on like NPD charts.

Like for example the Yakuza team from Sega being stunned at how well the Yakuza port on Switch 1 was selling.

700k+ for Rebirth on Steam alone is quite good too, I could see that happening on Switch 2.

Part III likely being day 1 on Switch 2 + PC along with Playstation (XBox too?) will likely help them significantly.

That's Square-Enix's own damn fault though. It would be double that on PC alone if they had released these games day and date on Steam rather than crippling the sales potential.

There not being a Switch 2 available earlier is a bit of a tougher break for Square-Enix but that will be rectified for Part III at least.
