The PC sales were good for XV. Average for VII Remake and poor for both Rebirth and XVI

The results are obvious. PC gamers gave the IP a chance twice, for both the remake of VII and the new mainline entry (XV). But neither resonated with the audiences enough for a second purchase

If the biggest audience in the world on PC couldn't help here I don't see why Nintendo gamers (who in majority already play on PC, Xbox and Playstation too) will make any relevant difference

At best it will recover some Japanese sales but that's all

I can see Remake selling 1+ million on Switch 2 and Rebirth north of 500k at least. Lots of 3rd party late ports sold 1+ million on the Switch 1, no reason to think that won't continue and even increase on Switch 2 ... that would be a big boost to the bottom line LTD of these games.

Nintendo audience tends to skew heavier towards Japanese anime style games too, the PC crowd not so much.

The late ports that sell that well (Residente Evil 6, Dark Souls, The Witcher, Hogwarts Legacy, etc) are the ones selling in the range of 10 million+ or even 20 million+ range in other platforms. I don't think it's quite the case here. But we shall see
