Poilievre really is Trump-lite, and become less lite. Just like Trump, he's a sore loser who won't take "no" for an answer and keeps trying to force himself on Canada. He's also like Lauren Boebert, who was facing imminent defeat in her old congressional district and carpetbagged to an even redder district in Colorado.

Poilievre isn't going anywhere, just like Trump didn't.

Pierre's riding had new boundaries this time and most of the new voters were Libs. That's why nobody could figure out how the votes shifted so much.

To many Canadians, especially Cons, this election feels very much like a hybrid of the USA 2020 and 2024 election as there were many similarities.

Our media coverage since the election is a dead giveaway, as it's also very similar to the aftermath of the USA 2020 election. Our media is clearly happy and relieved that the Libs won, and they're also indirectly suggesting to Cons, mostly the politicians, to move on and ditch PP. The American media did the same thing with Trump.

We all know why this is, and we all know what the outcome was. The CAN Libs know the majority reason they won the election is because of not only Trump, but what he said, and that won't be there come next election (if the world doesn't fully flip upside down that is). So unless Carney can pull a rabbit out of a hat in 3-4 years, and nobody, including the Libs, are all that confident he can, then PP and the Cons will be very likely to win the next election, because it would end up just like this election, minus Trump.

The Libs have to pray that not only will Alberta fail to vote, or vote to stay, but that Carney is also a magician. That's if there's a God to hear them and answer.
