Should we be comparing a desktop though? You are comparing a desktop ie a stationary device. Switch 2 and everything it does has to be included in its pricing. I understand you are just comparing hardware that is comparable due to the poster bringing up PC hardware comparison but I do think we should still consider this isn't fully fair due to all Switch 2 offers.

Edit: Nevermind, Playstation was included in the conversation so the comparison is fair.

Yup, I think the only fair comparison for Switch 2 is the laptop options, and laptops are on average 25-35% more expensive than desktops for the same price range

DELL 3060 RTX laptop is ~5400 BRL (~900 USD) and comes with SSD of only 256 GB so big yikes. Still a pretty strong laptop, if you buy it you're probably safe because it will play all third parties easily until the mid of PS6 life

The problem specifically for Switch 2 is the direct competitors would be Geforces from 1060 and 2060 family line. You can still find 2060 laptops, but there are very few in the marketplace (at least in Brazil), while for 1060 I don't even think there is any being sold commercially. So if you want a entry-level laptop 3700 BRL is the minimum you need to spend, which is still a bit less expensive than Switch 2 but only because Switch 2 is overpriced here due to taxes + lack of proper distribution
