This is true on paper, but never under-estimate the motivational effect of price anchoring.

Even people who don't really want Mario Kart will be motivated to buy the bundle because of the value added.

Price anchoring is a fact, but it is only half the answer.  The other half is to get more people to use digital.  They don't want a bunch of physical copies of Mario Kart World out there.  I also think they are just trying to up the digital ratio in general.
