Bc that is not how you build antecipation.
If they showed everything by now, most of the people would feel satisfied by having all their curiosities being answered and when the game is ready, the excitment is already gone bc another exciting new thing have grabed their attention.
You need to hold all the juicy content to the last minute with an epic release trailer and let chaos do the rest.
To make more clear, this is not for us fans, this is for the general audience
