Just to substantiate your point, one could look at the comments on this article. Most are complaining about the price of the console and accessories, the lack of games, and predicting it would sell less than Wii U + 3DS.

Heck the article's conclusion/prediction is 25 million sales. 

I've seen 50-year-old food products on the Ashens channel age better than that article.
