The Xbox Series S is a bargain console that can't run games properly and was released almost half a decade ago. The Switch 2 is Nintendo's brand new console that isn't even out yet. So, imo, if a person is comparing the S2 to that system, or the PS4, or the PS4 Pro... I just don't see how it's any different from what they've been doing since the Wii. Compared to the best of what Sony and Microsoft have to offer, the hardware is woefully under powered.

It isn't underpowered though. It's just a hybrid/portable system, not a dedicated console, and with that comes physical limitations on size, heat, watts, etc.

If that's not for you that's fine, but holding it to home console standards is asking the impossible, the technology to get PS5 performance out of a handheld form factor actually doesn't exist yet.

Is there a Nintendo home console I can buy instead? Because if there isn't, I have no choice but to hold it to the same standards. It's all they're offering.
