Too many people are eager to believe that Mario Kart World's price is the new rule instead of the exception that it is.

In the USA both Walmart and Target have ToTK, Kirby, Mario Party & Mario Kart at $80. It doesn't seem like it's going to be a rare exception for Nintendo to charge $80 this generation to me.

4 out of the 6 nintendo titles there are 80$.
Yeah that doesn't count as a rare exception.
