Other than showcasing 4K/60fps and 180p/120fps output, I feel like Prime 4's not really a next gen technical showcase simply cos it's built around hardware a generation behind Switch 2. It's a beautiful game on the strength of its image quality, framerate, and art direction, but it's barely scratching the surface of what the hardware should be capable of in terms of lighting, geometry, effects, etc.

If we get a Prime 5 in 2030 or something it could look far superior.

Hm, about art direction - I'm looking forward to MP4, cause I like Metroid for what it brings to table gameplay wise...but honestly, from everything I've seen so far, on pure art direction, even something as old as Halo 4 looks much better.

I mean art direction is entirely down to preference, like personally I find Prime 4's lighting more tasteful than Halo 4's more "showy" approach, and its architecture more pleasing due to its more organic use of shape and form, but there's really no right or wrong answer when it comes to art after all.
