The original source was probably a Square-Enix apologist who wanted to justify why Bravely Default doesn't come on a game card. "Oh, it's Nintendo's fault, because the only choice they are giving S-E here is an expensive 64 GB card." That's how this kind of bullshit starts.

Well it would explain the high prices of 80 dollars if they have to use a 64GB cart.
