Definitely! Nintendo has proved time and time again that the focus on video games being fun first and foremost is the biggest key to being successful. If graphics really were the one all be all at all times as much as twitter fanboy trolling nonsense try to make it out to be, the DS, Wii, Switch, etc, wouldn't have beat the competition the way they did.

A handheld console isn't as powerful as a dedicated box???? I'M SHOCKED!

I would like to know how a Switch 2 compares to a Steam deck when you factor in storage costs of an all-digital device. Is it as powerful? More? Less? Also have to factor in how much a Steam deck will cost after tariffs kick in. But twitter is not the place for a level-headed discussion.

It's overall more capable than the Steam Deck though not by a lot since the SD was notably better for 2022 standards than the Switch 2 is for 2025 standards. Other than power they both have different benefits over each other like the Switch 2's screen being 1080p and 120fps while the SD is only 800p and 60 or 90 depending on the version but the 90hz versions are OLED which is significant. The LCD SD is actually somewhat cheaper than the Switch 2 though the screen is worse while the two OLED versions have an overall better screen for those who prefer OLED over the higher refresh rate and resolution and more storage and better battery life but cost more so each one has things going for them.

Though for cost if someone is fine with getting a refurbished SD when they're available then the 512GB OLED one is about the same price as the Switch 2 so that's something notable to consider.
