Basically the same as last week so I wonder how much longer the Switch can stay at this level of sales since people are gonna quickly learn that the Switch 2 is just a couple months away. For the Switch 2 it's notable how relatively cheap it is in Japan so that'll help it be another huge success there though its price increase over the Switch is still relatively big there thanks to the yen declining a lot recently so that'll hurt it and help the Switch out at least a tad.

Something working against the Switch 2's sales more is the relatively cheap one only having Japanese as a language and the multi-language system being 20k yen more expensive to match the exchange rate and crack down on exporting. It doesn't seem to be known how many Switch's from Japan were exported but if they're doing that then it wouldn't be surprising if it's full on millions of them so that alone probably guarantees the Switch 2 selling less than the Switch in Japan without even taking into account all the other reasons why that was almost surely gonna happen. It'll still sell extremely well in Japan though with it have a good shot of being the 4th console to reach 30m and software sales won't really impacted by it so that part will hold up better for overall another huge success.
