FF 7 Rebirth story is so baffingly stupid.

Yea the problem is made the baffling choice of giving the director of Kingdom Hearts, which is known for convoluted stories, free reign with remaking possibly Square's best story ever and the results were as predictable as they come: not terrible, but very needlessly jumbled and logically flawed. It's a huge shame because the games are so incredible otherwise and the characters are actually made even better than the original, it's just the overall story where they had to go and reroll the dice when it was already a natural 20.
